Since we started to resume business operations at our sites as lockdown restrictions were eased in the UK, our team in Cambridge have been preparing to move into a new office space. The office is situated on the same site as the production factory at Green End Industrial Estate, Gamlingay in Cambridge. The site is a short 25-minute drive from the previous office location in Swavesey and is based in a busy industrial estate, better suited to the business’ needs.
The move was driven by the desire to manage the full team from one single site location, create efficiencies within the business and join together our production and design teams for better collaboration. It is part of various investments that have taken place since acquiring the site back in 2018, to expand and upgrade the factory in Gamlingay.
"Since DTE Cambridge joined the James Donaldson Group in November 2018, it has always been our goal to move our office based employees to the same site location as our manufacturing teams and the end of our lease at Swavesey provided us with the perfect opportunity to do so. Being based on a single site will allow for improved communication, collaboration and productivity"
