Roof Trusses

Discover the adaptability of roof trusses

Trussed rafters, also known as roof trusses, provide a structural framework to support the roof fabric, ceilings or floors of buildings in both residential and commercial structures.

Robust and reliable, roof trusses can be used on a wide range of roofs, both cold and warm, and a wide range of super structures including timber, masonry and steel frame.

As a company, we have worked with the trade association, the Trussed Rafter Association (TRA) to develop guidance for the safe handling, transporting, installation and care which is harmonious with other roof truss suppliers. Making these items standard across the industry, makes it safer for all involved, but especially the construction teams where safety and consistency is paramount.

Our current Managing Director is the 4th Donaldson employee who has occupied the role of TRA Chairman, and we are also represented on the Safety, Technical and Management committees. The following links will direct customers to the relevant trade association guidelines.
